A political science lecturer at Yale University is telling Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy he needs to get behind the legalization of marijuana or “get out of the way.”
Writing in the Connecticut Post, John Stoehr suggests: “Along with bioscience and advanced manufacturing, legal weed would go a long way to diversify our economy – just the kind of thing he (Malloy) wants!”
Stoehr even uses the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio as an illustration of how legalizing pot could spark the economy, claiming that allowing public drinking around the football hall has been a major boost to the Canton economy. He suggests the same thing could happen to Connecticut with marijuana.
