Connecticut Democrats weren’t the only entity busy on Twitter, during Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s State of the State address on Wednesday, so were Connecticut Republicans.
When Gov. Malloy said the state of Connecticut is “being managed great,” the CT GOP tweeted:
“Just ask the 26% who approve.” The GOP then linked to a story about people leaving Connecticut in droves.
The Republicans were also quick to pounce, when the governor talked about how responsible he has been handling the state budget. The GOP tweeted:
“Responsibly managed the state budget? Ask the middle class how responsible @CTDems have been with our tax money with two huge tax increases.”
Let the Twitter wars begin!
