Connecticut State Sen. Len Suzio, R-13, will get a public hearing by the General Assembly’s Transportation Committee on his bill to de-fund a state study on the feasibility of taxing Connecticut motorists by the mile. The senator would like to take the money earmarked for the study and use it to replenish state funding for rifle salutes at military funerals. His bill is SB 76.
The hearing on the bill will be Monday, Jan. 30.
Senator Suzio talked about his plan recently on CT On The Hill’s radio broadcast.
