Gov. MalloyConnecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy says he might sue the Trump administration over executive orders issued by the President Wednesday designed to curb illegal immigration:

“If this order is written in such a way as to discriminate against individuals or communities or institutions, we’ll defend that,” he said. But he also said he didn’t like the term sanctuary city and that the state was following the law. “We don’t … actually have any true sanctuary cities in Connecticut. We are absolutely abiding by the laws of the nation and the Constitution of the United States. We have a Constitution and we have an obligation to treat people fairly.”

The administration is threatening to withhold federal funding from sanctuary cities.
