Governor Malloy makes play for New York Islanders

Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is making a play to bring the National Hockey League’s New York Islanders to Connecticut.  Malloy, an avowed hockey fan, making the revelation on WFSB-TV 3’s “Face the State.”

The Islanders currently play in the Barclay Center, but that arena has moved to end its relationship with the franchise, claiming it is losing money, when the club plays there.

  1. Hey why not, it should only cost us a couple of Billion by the time we pay for their stadium, You don’t think Malloy is going to pay for this…………………Noooooooooooooo, the tax payer will. Oh wait we’ll make a zillion $$$$$$ since they play all year long, They Don’t, what was I thinking??
