Harp pushing for soda tax

State Sen. Toni Harp, D-New Haven, is continuing her push for a soda tax.  She wants soda taxed at a penny an ounce.

New Haven officials are concerned that Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s budget could have a negative impact on the city.

  1. Hey Harp, how about the air we breath. You’ll surely make a bigger buck if you went by county. Big cities pay less (pollution) the outer towns pay more, you know more fresher air. You could make a killing on taxes !! Why don’t you spend more time on the real issues that are killing this state, you taxes.
