As hundreds gathered at Bradley International Airport gathered to protest President Donald Trump’s ban on certain groups entering the country, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy was not in attendance. The governor, we are told, is on vacation in Florida. However, his office did issue a statement supporting the protesters and the governor sent his loyal surrogate Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman to make a statement at the airport:
“We cannot stand and allow this president to do what he’s doing. We need to stand up for all people. See these young people here? It’s for them. America is the greatest country in the world and we will not allow him to change this. We are here for all people. On behalf of the governor and myself, there is nobody that will fight harder,” Wyman said.
